Bajaj Avenger 220 is a upgraded version of Avenger 200. The changes are made in its engine. It has a very classy look and one of the few in the Indian market with different style of body design. Bike has many good features it it. Not too expensive for its style, costs around 77k INR approximately.
Engine: Avenger 220 has a 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooled (with oil cooler) engine. Produces the maximum power of 19 Bhp at 8100 rpm and maximum torque of 17.5Nm at 7000 rpm. Eventhough bike has higher power, it is less than Pulsar 220. The 5 speed gear box is smooth and gives a good feeling while riding the bike.
Comfort and Safety: Bike has forward foot riding feature for the driver. Possible centre of gravity and wide front and rear tyres. Push button indicator cancellation, low battery level indicator, tripmeter to record distance travelled are the comfort features in the bike. Bigger front disc and modified rear brake arrangement are good safety features in the bike.
Stylings: Classic tank set fuel gauge and an optional windshield, chrome plating for the flamboyant silver look, sculpted tank for a special retro feel, all these features makes the rider to look completely different from the other bike riders.

Performance: Pick up power of the bike is good. Better fuel efficiency and less emmision. Easy to start due to low trigger start rpm. The mileage is around 35 to 40 Kmpl. These features seems to give a power packed performance.

Bajaj Avenger is one of the cheapest cruisers that you can buy in India. It has good features as like long wheelbase, low centre of gravity, wide seats, fat tyres and long handlebars. This is really a very good bike.
