TVS has launched its other performance bike in the apache RTR series. Modifications are front and rear disc brakes, which also seen in apache RTR 160. It has all the features of the apache series bikes with upgraded high tech features. RTR 180 has more powerful engine and better graphics. RTR 180 looks attractive and priced competitively compared to other bikes in the market. It cost approximately 66K INR (may vary).
Engine: Bike has superior engine technology. It is powered by 177.4cc engine which generates 17Bhp of maximum power at 8500rpm with 15.5Nm of maximum torque at 6500rpm. Has 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooled engine. Clutch is multi-plate wet type. Gear box comprises of 5 gears with constant mesh transmission. Bike has both self and kick starting.
Design and Comfort: Bike comes with digital dash - LCD speedometer, two trip meters, clock, odometer, fuel gauge and an analog tachometer. Also has useful features like service and battery indicator. Another useful feature is the clip on handlebar for various positions. The titanium black engine with the cover, LED tail lamp, new turn signal lamps, race crouch mirrors, new rear fender and a slick silencer give the bike a great sporty appeal.
Performance: Bike gives a top speed of 125kmph and mileage of about 44kmpl which good compared to other competitive sporty bikes in the market. Has good front and rear suspension giving comfortable ride. Has fuel capacity of 16 litres. Bike weighs 137kg, which is likely designed for better performance. On the whole TVS Apache RTR 180 is a good bike and very competitive with the top selling bikes in the market.

Apache RTR 180 is the most powerful bike of TVS ever launched in India. The bike is able to compete with Bajaj Pulsar 180 and other premium 150cc bikes like Yamaha FZ-S, Suzuki GS150R and Hero Hunk.
